Individual therapy can range from short-term work aimed towards shifting a single behavior or bad habit to long term committed work geared towards healing deep, persistent patterns of behavior or thought.
I work with almost any kind of emotion, wound, or troublesome behavior – but here are some of the issues I have come to specialize in over the years:
- Depression
- Anxiety, stress or overwhelm
- Self-criticism, lack of self-esteem or self-confidence
- Procrastination, creative blocks or lack of motivation
- Sexuality & relationships (including “alternative” lifestyles such as polyamory and BDSM)
- Past or present traumatic experiences (abuse, neglect, bullying, birth, accident or medical trauma)
- Men’s issues
- Embodiment, movement and dance therapy
